Edmund (Ed) Meurer Sr. started a small church bulletin publishing company in 1935 to serve the local Catholic parishes of the Detroit area. It became one of the largest church bulletin publishers in the Mid– West.

During the 1940’s Ed introduced a new line of fund-raising products to help churches with stewardship.
